CARBINE SX/TX

The Carbine SX and TX are Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Basic, Non-ACT paintball launchers. The only modification on the TX model is a forward air adapter. The SX and TX are easy to distinguish from the Carbine S model as they both have a picatinny rail mounted to the top of the receiver. Other differences from the Carbine S include a 3-piece receiver, modified powertube and air valve, integrated rear sight, taller front sight (to account for additional height of picatinny rail), and a locking pin for the front sight.

These models also use 2 additional O-rings, one on the inside of the right half receiver and the other on the underside of the air valve which acts as a seal with the powertube.

The airline also uses a different connection method to the air valve than that of the Carbine S model. These launchers are no longer being sold by PepperBall.
