The TAC700 is a Tippmann A-5 launcher modified with a forward-air adapter. The launcher features an electronic, battery powered trigger and an air-assisted cyclone feed system that allows for selective rates of fully automatic fire between 12-15 rounds per second.
Because of its high rate of fire, a 13 cubic inch HPA bottle quickly runs out of air with this system. The system is also less user-friendly for officers that don't get a chance to practice with it on a regular basis. This launcher benefits from a large capacity air bottle and coiled air hose in a backpack setup.
